special guest, Matt Bar from the Bible Raps group giving the night’s
D’var Torah as well as doing a rap workshop directly following dinner.
Bible Raps is an innovative educational tool that uses rap and hip hop
to enliven the core Jewish texts.

2)     Hard Times Cafe – 1821 Riverside Avenue – Lead by Jessi Lynch and Amir Zadakah -  Discussion of how ‘being jewish’ has felt different in different cultural contexts

3)     Espresso Expose (600 Washington Avenue SE) – Lead by Angela Ugoretz and Mike Blyakher – Discussion on Judaism in current events

Time to let loose and have the time of your life at the biggest Purim Party the U has ever seen! Click for details! With professional DJs, a beautiful venue that will be transformed into a club, and hundreds of people, Hillel’s Purim Party will rock the night away!

• What: There will be desserts, silliness, dancing and more! Come
  dressed in costume or wear a mask!  $2 raffle tickets will benefit
  Haiti.  There will also be a cash bar for anyone who is 21+
• When: Doors open at 8:00 pm, Come on time to take advantage of great prizes & drinks! The party will wind down around 11:00 pm

Come to Hillel for a traditional Shabbat and Friday Night Dinner… Services start at 6:00 pm, and dinner will begin around 7:15. Free dinner for students! All you have to do is show up and enjoy the great Shabbas dinner served by Hillel. RSVPs are appreciated but not required! To RSVP, simply fill out the form below and you will be set. Starting at 7:00pm, this event will offer students of any faith to come and see how the famous Jewish Challah is made. Challah, pronounced with a harsh H at the beginning, is made by braiding three long strips of kneaded dough and baked until it becomes a beautiful Challah. Come participate at Hillel’s Challah Kneading on the 18th to give it a try!
